Security Engineer Director – Southeast Asia and Korea, Check Point Software Technologies

Khongsak Kortrakul is the systems engineer director for Southeast Asia and Korea at
Check Point Software Technologies. In his role, he is responsible for establishing relationships with customers, with the goal of helping them to detect and prevent advanced cyberattacks.
Khongsak also works closely with the sales engineering team in Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam) and South Korea to meet objectives, forecasted pipeline, and propose solutions that addresses unique cybersecurity environments.

Khongsak has over 15 years of experience in the cybersecurity industry, working
dominantly in the Product Management and Technical Services sphere. He has
acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience managing both the technical support
and business needs of his clients.

Khongsak has been with Check Point Software Technologies since 2022, joining from Palo Alto Networks, where he was Security Engineer Manager for Indochina. Prior to that, he held various managerial roles at Trend Micro and Dell EMC.

Khongsak holds a Master of Science in Computer and Information Science from Assumption University in Bangkok, Thailand.
